Hi everyone, my name is Matt Perez and welcome to my course Mastercam - Intro to the Basics.

I am an Application Expert at SolidBox providing CAD consulting and training across the Country.

Mastercam has been a leader in the CAM industry since it was introduced over 30 years ago!

In this course, we are going to learn the basics of designing parts and creating toolpaths in Mastercam.

Some of the major topics that we will cover include Wireframe Geometry, Solid and Surface Creation, and Toolpaths.

By the end of this course you will have a solid foundation with Mastercam and be on your way to programming your own products! Before beginning the course you should be familiar with CAD in general as well as having an understanding of Machining, but it’s laid out so the topics are arranged from easy to more difficult so anyone can follow along.

I hope you’ll join me on this journey to learn Mastercam with the Mastercam - Intro to the Basics course, at Pluralsight.
