Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Casey Ayers, and welcome to my course, Project Stakeholder Management. This course is the thirteenth entry in our newly updated series, helping you prepare for the latest version of the PMP exam, which is based on the sixth edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge, better known as the PMBOK Guide. By completing this course and others in our PMP prep series, you'll not only be better prepared to ace the certification exam, but critically, we'll also completely fulfill the mandatory training requirement that must be met before taking the exam. Some of the major topics we will cover in this course include identifying and categorizing stakeholders, developing a plan to successfully manage stakeholder engagement, executing on that plan to ensure stakeholders help drive your project forward, and monitoring stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure we continuously work to improve on our approach. By the end of this course, you'll be better prepared to manage your relationships with those who have an impact on or are impacted by our project's work and results. This course and others in the series cannot only help you learn more about project management and prepare for the PMP exam, but also serve as a great refresher for established project managers, and as an opportunity to earn continuing education credit. I hope you'll join me on this journey to prepare for the PMP exam and learn more about project stakeholder management, here at Pluralsight.

Planning Stakeholder Engagement
Welcome back. In this module, now that we've identified our project stakeholders, we're going to begin planning how we're going to engage with them throughout the project's work. First, we'll look at how we plan stakeholder engagement at a broad level, and what types of details we should try to consider when creating our stakeholder engagement plans. Then, we'll look at what stakeholder engagement levels exists, and which we might find desirable for different stakeholders based on their relationship and attitudes about the project. From there, we'll look at the sorted components that should be included in an effective stakeholder management plan, and then look at the process components. Those inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs that are found in the PMBOK guide, and associated with the plan stakeholder management process. Let's get started.

Managing Stakeholder Engagement
Welcome back. Now that we've identified our project stakeholders and laid out our plans for how we're going to manage our relationships with them throughout the course of the project, it's time to actively manage stakeholder engagement. First, we'll talk about what that entails and what we should seek to accomplish through managing our engagement with various stakeholders. Then, we'll take a closer look at the managed stakeholder engagement process, the inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs as found in the PMBOK guide. Let's get started.

Monitoring Stakeholder Engagement
Welcome back. In this fourth and final module, we're going to look at Monitoring Stakeholder Engagement. How we can measure our work so far engaging with stakeholders and how well we've done in achieving the desired levels of stakeholder engagement for each of the different parties that we work with. First, we'll begin by looking at monitoring stakeholder engagement at abroad level, understanding exactly what it is we seek to accomplish here, and some of the different ways we can go about it. Then, we'll look at the process components, those inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs found in the PMBOK guide that are associated with the monitor stakeholder engagement process. Let's get started.
