Course Overview Hi everyone. My name is Casey Ayers, and welcome to my course, Project Stakeholder Management. This course is the thirteenth entry in our newly updated series, helping you prepare for the latest version of the PMP exam, which is based on the sixth edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge, better known as the PMBOK Guide. By completing this course and others in our PMP prep series, you'll not only be better prepared to ace the certification exam, but critically, we'll also completely fulfill the mandatory training requirement that must be met before taking the exam. Some of the major topics we will cover in this course include identifying and categorizing stakeholders, developing a plan to successfully manage stakeholder engagement, executing on that plan to ensure stakeholders help drive your project forward, and monitoring stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure we continuously work to improve on our approach. By the end of this course, you'll be better prepared to manage your relationships with those who have an impact on or are impacted by our project's work and results. This course and others in the series cannot only help you learn more about project management and prepare for the PMP exam, but also serve as a great refresher for established project managers, and as an opportunity to earn continuing education credit. I hope you'll join me on this journey to prepare for the PMP exam and learn more about project stakeholder management, here at Pluralsight.
