Introduction and Project Overview
(upbeat music) Hi everyone, my name is Clifford Green and I'm a senior lighting TD at ScanlineVFX. My latest projects include Fast and Furious 7 and Peter Pan. In this course, we are going to learn how to create a 3D concept in Maya and V-Ray. The major topics that we'll be discussing will include the following: how to work fast and efficiently in V-Ray and Maya, techniques for creating complex shaders in V-Ray, create professional-looking 3D concept for film or game, light and look development within shot parameters, gradient, and creating a professional-looking art concept. By the end of this training, you'll be able to create complex 3D scenes in Maya and V-Ray and develop a core foundation in concept creation. I'm excited to share these techniques with my fellow artists, so let's get started with the first lesson.
