Course Overview
Hi, everyone. My name is Jason Alba and welcome to my course, Understanding Your Audience. I am a Pluralsight author specializing in soft skills and professional development, and I own a software company called JIBBERJOBBER.COM. This course is an excellent compliment to any of the awesome communication courses in the Pluralsight library because with every communication, whether written, from a stage, in a pitch or in a one-on-one, you really need to understand your audience. Some of the major topics that we will cover include how to really define your audience so you understand them, how you can best connect with your audience through your communication and how to understand why you may not be connecting with your audience. By the end of this course, you'll feel confident that you can really connect with your audience using the techniques I talk about. From here, you should feel more comfortable diving into any of the communication course, whether it's the Effective Email Communication course, Speaking Fundamentals or How to Talk, Write, Present, and Get Ahead. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn about your audiences with the Understanding Your Audience course at Pluralsight.
