Pluralsight Appoints Alicia Chrapaty as Chief Marketing Officer

Salt Lake City, Utah - May 22, 2024 - Pluralsight, the technology workforce development company, today announced the appointment of Alicia Chrapaty as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role, Chrapaty will be responsible for leading all aspects of Pluralsight’s marketing including brand, communications, global demand generation, field marketing, product marketing, and marketing operations.

“Having worked closely with Alicia in the past, I know she will bring the data driven mindset and operational rigor required across our marketing organization,” said Pluralsight President and CEO, Chris Walters. “Her customer-centric mindset, creativity and extensive experience leading high-performing marketing teams will fuel growth for both Pluralsight and our customers.”

Prior to being named CMO, Alicia was Pluralsight’s Senior Vice President of B2C Revenue Marketing and spearheaded the application of an analytical approach to understanding and managing pipeline generation.

Chrapaty brings 20 years of marketing experience across multiple industries, including software, media, technology, and retail. Prior to joining Pluralsight, Chrapaty served as the CMO for TaxAct where she led both business and culture transformations, turning years of market share decreases into share gains while also delivering record revenue growth. She has also held marketing leadership roles at Pier 1 and Verizon Media.

“Pluralsight is at an exciting inflection point as the need for technology skills has never been more critical particularly in the wake of the rise of artificial intelligence," said Chrapty. “I look forward to working with the team to accelerate demand, deepen customer engagement, and unlock new opportunities and growth for the company.”
