Jay Boucher is a freelance illustrator and interactive designer creating games and websites for young people. He strives to create work that is both entertaining and intuitive to use, a combination of visual fun and UI best practices. Jay spent much of the 2000s as Senior Designer for MTV.com, designing sites for shows like "Pimp My Ride" and "The Real World", as well as cable channels MTV2 and MTV Tr3s. He has worked with Hearst Digital, Condé Nast and Westwood One Radio Network and currently creates games and animations for the foundation of renowned illustrator Ezra Jack Keats. Jay has a BFA in Illustration from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MFA in Photography & Related Media from School of Visual Arts in NYC. He draws from life every chance he gets and combines observational drawing with digital manipulation to create his artwork. He has taught for iD Tech Camps and Young Rembrandts. He recently developed a game design curriculum for children in northern NJ and presented his student's work at TEDx Jersey City. He can be found skateboarding with his two daughters on the streets of Hoboken and Jersey City, NJ.
