Miguel de los Rios is a 3D lighting artist and digital compositor currently based in Spain. A fine arts student with graduate studies in digital art, Miguel has been working in the animation and VFX industry over the past 8 years. He started as a generalist in the 3D world, quickly moving into lighting and rendering, which eventually led him to take over compositing tasks. Ever since, he has done work for clients like Disney Channel Europe, Disney World, Cartoon Network; brands like Coca Cola, Samsung, BMW, Porsche, and Vodafone; as well as several award winning music videos and short films. Aside from his regular freelance job for different studios around the world, Miguel has taught different courses at different schools in 3 different countries, about 3D lighting, introduction to compositing, multi pass rendering and compositing, and digital color theory.
