Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Jillian Kaplan, and welcome to my course, Managing Product Marketing. I am a product marketing manager at a large, high‑tech company. I have a background in engineering and product management, so I understand how these roles fit together for a successful product launch. A successful go‑to‑market planned product launch paves the way for you to develop future products. This course is a great way for you to learn how to work with product marketing and help them understand the value proposition of your product so they can better position it in the market. Some of the major topics we will cover include aligning marketing and customer metrics, designing a product marketing plan, completing product and industry analysis, defining the four P's, suggesting marketing platforms and materials, and finally, defining the KPIs for a successful launch. By the end of this, you'll know how to manage and communicate with product marketing to ensure a successful launch Before beginning this course, you should be familiar with product management tasks and roadmap responsibilities. I hope you'll join me in the journey to learn product marketing with the Managing Product Marketing course, at Pluralsight.
