Course Overview Hello, my name is Brian Alderman, and welcome to my course, Setting up a Microsoft 365 Tenancy and Subscription. I am Microsoft MVP. I'm an MCT for 22 consecutive years, so I've done lots of training. Author of four published books, speaker at several SharePoint and Office 365 conferences around the world, and a trainer/consultant at my own company called Microtech Point. Now creating a Microsoft 365 tenant is easy. Being it's wizard driven, you just have to respond to the prompts. However, you need to know what subscription plan to use when creating the tenant and also how to correctly respond to the tenant creation steps to ensure you successfully create the tenant needed for your organization. Some of the major topics that we will cover in this course include the preparation to create the Microsoft 365 tenant, the actually steps necessary to create the tenant, optional configurations steps, some of which can be completed while creating the tenant and then others are completed after we create the tenant. By the end of this course, you'll know what you need to have for information prior to creating the tenant, the steps taken to create the tenant, and tasks that can be completed while creating the tenant or after the tenant is created to ensure you're taking full advantage of Microsoft 365. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with your organization's Microsoft 365 requirements, have a general understanding of Office 365 functionality, and also know who's going to be accessing Microsoft 365 and what their roles will be. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn about Microsoft 365 tenant creation with my Setting Up a Microsoft 365 Tenancy and Subscription course available here, at Pluralsight.
