Pluralsight Academies are multi-week blended-learning programs designed to fast-track teams’ skill acquisition. Cohort-based and customizable, these bootcamp-style programs are offered in two formats: an immersive, continuous format or virtual mentored with emphasis on self-paced learning enhanced with scheduled instructor-led sessions. Both formats are paired with asynchronous hands-on resources from Pluralsight.

Immersive Academies
Depending on subject, skill level of the participating learners, and business requirements, Immersive Academies typically range from three to eight weeks. Learn-to-Code and Full-Stack Academies can be up to 18 weeks. These are intense learning programs that engage learners through active participation. Nearly 70% of learning time is spent in group discussion, use cases, hands-on activities, or lab work. Pre- and post-work utilizing the Pluralsight asynchronous platform is incorporated to prepare learners for classes and to advance their learning post-class.

Virtual Mentored Academies (VMA)
A VMA places emphasis on self-paced learning. Curated courses are scheduled for completion weekly (generally 2-4 hrs) followed by a weekly instructor session to review the assigned materials and to facilitate discussion, hands-on activities or labs. Like the Immersive Academy, a VMA’s program length is dependent on subject, skill level, business requirements, and the volume of asynchronous learning needed for the program in 4-6 hour weekly installments. By combining weekly, curated self-paced learning with a weekly instructor-led session for review and additional hands-on activities, blended-learning VMA program leads to improved retention, higher completion rates, and learners who are better prepared for their future roles.

Getting Started
Every engagement is managed by our dedicated team of experts, from the initial consultation to project management and the post-training analysis of effectiveness against KPI standards. Our team engages in detailed discovery with you to understand learning outcomes and business goals for the training. An initial design is then crafted by a Learning Solution Architect and presented back for review and approval. This is followed by a more detailed scoping call with the selected instructor for the program to discuss specifics of how the sessions will be performed; that is, material emphasis, unique business requirements, and hands-on activities to be utilized.
