Skill IQ is an adaptive assessment that helps learners identify their skill strengths and gaps within a particular skill or technology. These assessments are based on modern test theories, Bayesian statistics, and machine learning to model skills and find questions that match those skills.
Once you’ve completed an assessment, you’ll receive a relative skill ranking against peers who took the same assessment, as well as recommendations to help close knowledge gaps and guide learners to personalized content.
Assessments take about 10-15 minutes, with an average of 25 questions.
Learning paths are structured into beginner, intermediate and advanced categories. Your Skill IQ ranking typically aligns with where in a path to start. For example, in the Above Average range of Proficient, you could start in the advanced section of a path. A Novice skill level will almost always suggest starting in the beginner section of a path.
You can retake an assessment every 14 days, allowing you to track your skill progression over time.
Skill IQ progress is tracked through Skills Inventory analytics and is available on all business plans. Leaders can monitor popular subjects, skill progression, and overall engagement through this report.
