Pluralsight Wins Gold Stevie Award for Best Training Site in 2014 American Business Awards

Pluralsight is the Global Leader in Online Training for Technology and Creative Professionals with More than 3,000 Available Courses and 750,000 Learners Worldwide

SALT LAKE CITY – Pluralsight, a global leader in online training for technology professionals, today announced it won a 2014 Gold Stevie® Award for Best Training Site in The 12th Annual American Business Awards.

“Receiving this award is an incredible honor and a testament to the quality and depth of our courses,” said Aaron Skonnard, Pluralsight founder and CEO. “Our expert authors are the absolute best in their fields, consistently delivering premier, relevant training on the latest applications and trends. With a tremendous skills gap in the workforce, it’s incredibly rewarding to know that Pluralsight is filling a needed void by democratizing professional education for individuals and companies around the world.”

Pluralsight is at the forefront of the booming e-learning industry, which Global Industry Analysts (GIA) projects to be a $107 billion market in 2015. Disrupting traditional learning methods such as books and in-person training, the company has experienced triple-digit growth for the past four consecutive years and shows no indications of slowing.

Pluralsight is the world’s largest curated e-learning library for technology and creative professionals, academic institutions and businesses of all sizes. It offers instant access to more than 3,000 courses, with 750,000 learners in 150 countries. A distinguishing feature of Pluralsight is its network of more than 500 expert authors, many of whom are deeply involved in the industry. The site releases more than 60 new courses each month, with near-immediate training on the latest software.

More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year’s American Business Awards competition. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 240 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.

The awards were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Friday, September 12 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Details about The American Business Awards and the full list of the 2014 Stevie® Award winners are available at http://www.stevieawards.com/ABA/
